I taught 3rd graders how to fold Origami Cranes. We discussed the Japanese meaning behind the paper crane: Peace in connection to the book "Sadako and the 1000 Paper Cranes". As a school/community we collected over 1,000 paper cranes in a display at Heritage Elementary School
